For the truly die hard coffee fans who require their beverages fully caffeinated at all times!
This A4 print has been composed with a mixture of original woodblock type and hand printed with our Jardine treadle platen printing press onto Conqueror 100% cotton card stock. We have used an experimental mix of finely ground coffee and binding mediums instead of ink to print with, creating a uniquely different effect and texture. As a result there is a great deal of variation between prints, and some examples are shown above.
As all our work is produced by hand, each impression is unique and as such, there will be minor variations from card to card. The designs are composed from original, antique woodblock and lead type and as such we do not deboss heavily into the card stock as this permanently damages the type.
